Blessings of May

My great grandmother, Mayhala May Fuller wrote all of these poems. "Her voice and her silvery locks of gray like the birds and the flowers and the blessings of May."
OLD VINEGAR BOTTLE

Old vinegar bottle that is he
Come bouncing in at half-past three
Down with his hat upon the floor
A cud of tobacco dashed the door
Before telling his wife what she should do
Revived his jaws with another chew...*

My grandma Jo loved her mom and wrote many comments in the book. Like this one: "*Mother wrote this for us kids. It was about our Dad, who was sometimes quite sour and hard to get along with." lol
