Pity The World Doesn't See
Pity arose in my heart one day
Over my soul seemed to hold full sway
Led me along to show to me
The objects of pity the world does not see
Pity the ones who would stoop so low
To know their hearts though the world doesn't know
That they have injured some fair one here
One of God's beings that he holds dear
Caused them suffering pain and fear
Brought to their heart dark shadows drear
Left them alone in those shadows to be
The objects of pity the world can see
For God is just, his love is true
His punishment great and they shall rue
For he is the one that marks for thee
The objects of pity the world doesn't see.
