Gather your children around you
Feed them the manna of life
Tell them of Christ and His blessing
Teach them His sweet sacrifice

Tell them of Paul and of Peter
Matthew, Mark, Luke and John the Divine
Who through holy conferred power from heaven
Foretold the fulfillment of time

Tell them of Moses and Aaron
Abraham, Isaac and Jacob of old
About the transgressions of Israel
Who were into captivity sold

Of Ezekiel, Isaiah and David
And Daniel who was fearless and bold
To deny not the God of their father's
