Peace on Earth, good will to men
Christ's blood the sword it to defend
Peace on Earth, just hear the cry
Now battle rages high
Peace on earth shall come at last
Soon they'll hear the trumpets blast
Surrendering of arms there'll be
The mighty voice cries "victory"

His kingdom of Heaven on Earth to come
His will upon earth as in Heaven be done
All in the twinkling of an eye
As a thief in the night, the time draws nigh
Earth to Heaven shall pass away
Ye of the world where will you stay?

Long the war cry has been heard
Christ's testimony word for word
The elements His wrath proclaim
Jealous for His holy name
We'll need no sun to give us light
God's presence here will shine so bright
The darkness is perceiving not
The light for which the battles' fought.
